Hussein Khambalia
Chair and Co-Founder
Hussein is a Consultant Transplant Surgeon in the UK. Although he was born and raised in England, he has experienced the disparity of health care provision around the world and the harmful effects of this, to the patient, their relatives and the wider community.
From the outset of his transplant training, he felt a deep responsibility to help people around the world, using the skills he has learnt over the past 20 years. With experience in general surgery, adult and paediatric kidney transplant and vascular access, Hussein is passionate about teaching these skills to surgeons and specialists around the world to help them improve the outcomes for their patients.
It is this ethos that forms the centre of the work KCA performs. He feels strongly about equalling the disparity in kidney care around the world and formed KCA to help address these inequalities.
Insiya Susnerwala
Secretary and Co-Founder
Insiya is a Consultant Anaesthetist passionate about redressing the imbalances in medical treatments across the world.
She has specialist interests in maternal and musculoskeletal anaesthesia and comes with experience of being a Trustee for other medical charities.
In addition, she regularly travels to underprivileged communities in Asia and Africa to support local medical services through training local teams and providing vital care where it is required the most.
Although her medical knowledge and skills are a huge asset to the work we do at Kidney Care 4 All, it is her experience in managing and coordinating charitable organisations and overcoming the logistical challenges that are often faced with international collaborations, that make her a pivotal member of the team.
Moiz Ebrahim
Treasurer and Co-Founder
With over 25 years of experience as a practicing Chartered Accountant, Moiz brings a wealth of expertise in business and finance to Kidney Care for All. His professional journey has been dedicated to delivering sound financial strategies and fostering sustainable growth, skills that he now channels into supporting the mission of this organisation.
In addition to his professional career, he is deeply committed to the charitable sector. As a trustee and treasurer for other charities, he has a proven track record of effective financial stewardship, ensuring that resources are maximised to create meaningful impact.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and keeping fit. These passions allow him to recharge and maintain a balanced perspective while dedicating his time to causes that matter deeply to him. Above all, he values spending time with family and friends, whose support continues to inspire his work in making a difference through Kidney Care 4 All.
